The very definition of an over achiever. Of course the Ward trilogy will be talked about for until the end of time but I will always also remember the Gabe Ruelas fight and Dorin body shot. Even Canadians who are not boxing fans know who he is and consider him an icon.

Ps- I still say the bitch killed him.

definitly the bitch did it!!!,fuck the ward trilodgy,if u mention gatti 90%of the time thats all they know about him, people need to do abit of research and see what a truely skilled boxer he was, maybe abit out of his depth with dela hoya and also a little past it for the gomez fight but he was a true sucess and inspartion for all he achieved
p.s 5yrs earlkier he would have killed gomez,
i rate him above manny and gayweather, even marquez who i am an avid fan of

You are reaching here. Canada's Lamotta but he's not beating those guys and Floyd really put it to him.

    Peace.

Gatti had some amazing come from behind victories including Ruelas with that bomb of a left hook and heart of a lion.

People like Audley Harrison should take a look at this , and see what a real fighter looks like.

Not only was Arturo Gatti an entertaining and fan pleasing fighter, he was a really personable, likeable guy. That's what made his death so sad, you felt like you knew him, and it was like losing a brother.

I reckon we'll never really know, but I still have a problem believing he killed himself.

Great tribute. Made me sick watching his wife's smile as she was released.
