lol Garcia was the selling point in Garcia/Morales 2, and who give a fuck who Chavez dad is? hahaha well apparently all his fans, his promoter and well commentary for ever single fight he has seeing how it's always mentioned and there's always a video played with either a close up of SR or the infamous video clip of baby Jr with his dad and gloves on, haha it's the only reason he's relevant, his father is the MOST FAMOUS MEXICAN SPORTS FIGURE PERIOD, he's Mexico's Jordan, so how the fuck does that not have to do with his numbers jackass haha, and yea Vazquez Jr is the son of Vazquez Sr, yet Vazquez isn't the most famous fighter to come out of PR now is he, if it was Tito Trinidad's son well then you'd be able to talk, although his kid would have the same reaction as Chavez JR, cause as long as he's handled the same way that Chavez was he'll be made into the same illusion, get off his dick buddy hahaAnd each time Garcia was the B fighter. The Judah fight will be his first one as the A fighter. Canelo pulling 1 million for a fight on the same night as Chavez-Martinez is damn fucking impressive. And who gives a fuck who Chavez dad is? Wilfredo Vazquez Jr has a famous daddy. Yet nobody gives a fuck about himDanny Garcia already headlined 2 fights on HBO and one on Showtime this year alone, and after his huge win over Khan no doubt he'll be headlining more, JMM holds 4 wins over Pacquiao yet his last fight on HBO without the likes of Pacquiao was in 2010 against Katsidis and you remember the #'s for that fight right?I wasn't aware Calderon and Trinidad were still fighting. The list is for 2012. So we're obviously talking about current active fighters. Dumb asswell all of Calderon's title reign was on Top Rank PPV, Trinidad had no probs selling PPV's, aaaand either way Chavez/Rubio wasn't PPVBullshit. Put a Puerto Rican fighter (not named Cotto) on PPV. And I bet you it won't sell shit. Not even his momma would buy it. And her not being able to afford it won't be the reason eitherAnd fools say Chavez Jr doesn't deserve the purses he gets. Dumb muthafukkas. Numbers don't lie. Here's the pay channel (HBO/Showtime) ratings for the year.

That just proves that people will watch any piece of shit on TV nowadays.
I like to call it the "car wreck" syndrome.
And I said PPV to make it easier. But we can go non-PPV. What Puerto Rican fighter can you put to headline HBO's World Championship Boxing series (not BAD) and will bring in the ratings Chavez be bringing in? None. Cotto is the only one who with some help can maybe get to sight distance. But that's about it.
Chavez gets ratings due to his famous daddy, hell the only Mexican fighter on the list that draws crowds solely on popularity made by himself is Canelo and he's still at #16
Only one problem with that...
It's the Mexican fighters nowadays with the bloated records on account of no amateur experience (at least that's the excuse given).
Puerto Rican fighters... even sons of famous fighters... have to earn their records.
i.e.: No coddling involved.
