I too wouldnt mind seeing it....but if Hatton beats him handily the critics will say it meant nothing and if Gatti surprises then Hatton is left in a weird position...

I would love to watch it, but would feel weird about this one...
    That's the critics

Among the average fan it would be a really big win. I mean, even Mayweather to a certain degree, didn't blow up in the mainstream media until his win over Gatti.

My default here is that I would be a critic regarding this fight....but im also a divided critic. I like both fightes immensely...

I know who they are proposing that Gatti fight.

I would never say that Collazo hits harder than Gatti, but he's a hell of a lot more accurate, & more skilled IWO, than Gatti.

That's not really what I'm bringing in to question though. I aint the power...or the skill...it's the question of being spent or not...& Gatti is spent...it just really shows against marquee talent.

The fact is...Gatti can't take it anymore. Anyone that saw his last three fights knows that. As unrefined as Thomas Dammgard was...he hurt Gatti.

    Hatton would slaughter him.

im fucking sick of people talking about the collazo fight, we all have bad nights, especially against tall awkward southpaws when moving up a weight

And he still won so im satisfied with that as a warmup fight at 147

You can be sick of it if you want...but imagine how sick all the Kostya fans are of hearing about the Hatton Tszyu fight.

It's just a fact that Hatton gave his best & it wasn't good enough...a guy almost get's his ass kicked & his fans chalk that up to a bad night?

    Come on now.

Exactly Wacks!!!! Brother man.... That's exactly what the answer is when talking about Hattons legitimacy on his resume...People say" He beat the great Kosta Tszyu" Tszyu could have had a bad nite.. Thats all part of Life whats good for one is good for another....No excuses. If Ricky struggled than he struggled bottom line

I believe that everyone can & will have a bad night...but come on now...Collazo was supposed to be merely a stepping stone to Hatton's higher power...ended up Collazo proved either 1 of 2 things...that being that Hatton isn't nearly as effective with a mover in front of him...or...he just aint gonna cut the mustard at 147.

Or...he just had a bad night. I aint buyin that...you either can or can't beat the man in front of you.

I honestly believe that if Hatton were to rematch Collazo...he'd lose.

s back to you both in 24 hours also.

I have stated over & over & over again that Collazo deserves much props for that fight...to say that he doesn't or for Hatton fans to say that it was a bad night...well that just discredits Hatton.

The guy got knocked down & got up to fight on...that says something for him & about Hatton at the same time. No use in making up excuses.

I have absolutely no doubt that Kostya considered it a bad night.

I would love to see this fight, just becuase it would be a full out war. However if Hatton wins it wont really show much to the public so he should be looking elsewhere IMO.
