It's official. No offense guys, and Rees is legit domestic, but Broner is going to run this guy into the ground within 3-4 rounds. Credit to Rees if he goes 7 rounds.

i agree broner is a massive favourite, i think 3-4 rounds is being very unfair to rees

mid rounds is a posibility because rees sometimes struggles at about 7 or 8

I think Rees will do well. I dont know about winning but he should give Broner his hardest fight to date. He isnt that easy to hit and pressures well.

Rees only loss was up at welter. He isnt the midget in this fight, they areboth the same height, Rees has experience fighting much stronger men.

I'll be rooting for Gavin Rees but I don't think he has a chance, especially since the fight will be in the US.

If it's close which I doubt it will be, the officials will favor Broner because he's a Haymon-managed, Golden Boy-promoted HBO house fighter.

It won't go to the cards.

Tough fight? Late rounds? Ya'll gotta be fucking kidding me. Broner-Burns I can see as a competitve fight. Broner-Rees is a gross mismatch. If Broner goes on the attack, I'll be shocked if Rees gets out of the 2nd round

maybe broner is getting ready to fight ricky burns.... fighting mr rees to become better known in the uk to build upa fight with burns....if that is his plan it probably would have been better if he were to come to blighty for this fight.. boxrec says it is scheduled for new jersey ...

Prepared to be shocked then. Rees is European champion has only lost once and is capable of outpointing or stopping fighters. He will see the middle rounds at least and may even hear the final bell. Broner will be asked a few questions and whilst he may win decisively Rees will be no walkover.

This. If the fight goes more than 4, I'll rethink whether Broner is as dominant as he says he is. No offense to Rees either. He's traveling to the US to fight a guy the Ring (inexplicably) ranks in their top five p4p.

Rees has a great chance. He's a brillaint fighter who won't give a fuck about Broner's hype, he'll go into there to win. Even if he loses and Broner wins, I believe Gavin does himself very proud with his performance.

Anyone see the press conference from yesterday?

Rees stands up at the dias and says "I'm knocking this prick out!" and the crowd laughs. Broner gets up and pretends he cant remember Rees name and cracks a joke about his height and no one laughs. Don't think hes very liked. Seems like hes trying to do the Mayweather act outside the ring too but doesnt sound very confident, he stutters alot and has sunglasses on.

Apparently, Rees has been sparring in a gym in the bronx somewhere for 5 weeks.

One thing Rees should do is at the next opportunity call Broner "Adrien BONER" that would get everyone cracking up and will stick!

Let's say thanks to Broner and his team for looking outside the USA for his next opponent.
Maybe Broner wants to spread the money around, or make sure his name gets seen outside the US.
Rees will get a nice payday and maybe pull off one of those big upsets.
Either way we get another chance to measure Broner's talent against a respectable opponent.

Really? Rees should be able to take this later. An early stoppage would be stunning as Gavin can take a beating and keep on coming.
