Tough fight? Late rounds? Ya'll gotta be fucking kidding me. Broner-Burns I can see as a competitve fight. Broner-Rees is a gross mismatch. If Broner goes on the attack, I'll be shocked if Rees gets out of the 2nd round

maybe broner is getting ready to fight ricky burns.... fighting mr rees to become better known in the uk to build upa fight with burns....if that is his plan it probably would have been better if he were to come to blighty for this fight.. boxrec says it is scheduled for new jersey ...

Ricky Burns would probably fight Broner next week if it was up to him. I don't think his team will go anywhere near Broner personally but getting the Uk interest for a possible Burns showdown is an interesting angle. Broner wont have a size advantage on Burns which he has had so far. Both men especially Ricky fought much higher then lightweight earlier. Both are somewhat of an anomaly in that regard.

I think Burns would be making a mistake to fight Broner in the USA, where the officials will do all they can to help a Golden Boy/Al Haymon HBO star fighter.
However if Broner were willing to come to the UK where there would be fair officiating, Burns would have a very good chance of beating him.
There's no good reason to have the fight in the US, because Broner isn't a draw there, while Burns is very popular in Scotland and the fight would attract a good crowd. And it would be a good one to show in prime UK time on BoxNation. British boxers shouldn't cater to the wishes of the American networks and promoters.

Please, home-cooking is not an American phenomenon. Broner was Ricky's mandatory at 130 and the Burns camp went to 135 rather then face him. Broner is not a draw in the States? He's being billed as Floyds heir apparent. Tell me please how Burns dissuades the Broner mule kicks from either hand? Regardless of geography.

I think this is going to go down as the latest of a long run of British fighters who have gone over for a big fight in the states, and will prove themselves to be exceptionally tough but ultimately fall short in the final reckoning.
I see Rees probably getting stopped on his feet in rounds 10-12. Wouldn't be surprised if it goes to the cards, and we see something along the lines of 120-108 x3.

You would have to say Broner is the overwhelming favourite in this fight, Rees could pull off a upset
but very unlikely Rees is probable past his best.! I hope he gets a good pay day, as he may take a beating
well good luck to Gavin he needs it.

Tough, big heart, warrior.......... That takes a pounding!
We are due a Brit abroad upset though, can't actually remember the last genuine upset on away soil.
I was convinced Rendall Munroe would do it in Asia, but that was years ago and didn't happen.
If Brook beats Alexander it would be a shock to most the world.
I like gavin hes a good little fighter but unfortunaetly hes fighting a future superstar. 4-6 reese gets stopped. Good luck though broner is only a man at the end of the day.

Broner has a great future if he can stay composed.
I think we will all enjoy his rise to the top if his opponents keep improving.

Prepared to be shocked then. Rees is European champion has only lost once and is capable of outpointing or stopping fighters. He will see the middle rounds at least and may even hear the final bell. Broner will be asked a few questions and whilst he may win decisively Rees will be no walkover.

This is going to be one way traffic...think the Autobahn. Somewhere along the 5th,6th I fully expect Jim Lampley to have a complete and utter hysterical stroke as he wets himself praising Broners 'Complete professional dominance over a tough as nails and game challenger'![]()
Its a showcase. Nothing more.
