    Default Boxing Documentaries

What are some of your favorite boxing documentaries? I've only watched a couple. The one on Emile Griffith, and one about Joe Frazier called After The Smoke Clears.

Thank you guys ahead of time!

Recently there was a great Documentary about the Klitschko Bros. (I believe it was on HBO) Vitali & Wlad came from humble beginnings, and aside from boxing this was an interesting story. I came away from watching the Doc, with a lot of respect for both pugs.

"When We were Kings" (Ali vs. Foreman) was one of the best Docs ever, I also liked the
"Thrilla in Manila", in re: Ali vs Frazier III, a Documentary done in 2008.

It doesn't get any more real (or unreal) then these 2 Docs.

The HBO Boxing Deaths one was good. Sad, but a decent watch. It investigated the deaths of Arturo Gatti, Alexis Arguello and Vernon Forrest.

I'm not sure what it was called, but I liked the Lennox Lewis one before the Rahman rematch (I think). I remember seeing a one on Naz leading up to and after the Barrera fight too, that was quite good.

Naz documentary showed what a prat and out of control fighter he had become. Emanuel Steward could do nothing to save him at that late stage of his fight with Barrera.

HBO's Legendary Nights: 'Julio Cesar Chavez Vs. Meldrick Taylor'

Sadly Meldrick Taylor's career was never the same after that ... truly a boxing tragedy

Should've gave the man a W that night

All of the Legendary Nights episodes are classics. I wished that they made more.
