Harry Greb / Gene Tunney. Greb the Middleweight gave Tunney a frightful beating.
the only lose of his career.

Thats a good one. One could also include half of the careers of Langford and Barbados Joe.

Bramble had only lost once before and was coming off two impressive wins over Ray Mancini.
I'd say he was a clear favorite at the time.
I believe bookmakers had it 4/1 in favor of Bramble.
Thought about this one but really Rosario was still close to being Rosario. I'd go with his bulldozing of a streaking Loreto Garza yrs later and a weightclass removed. He looked like stale toast with Nazario in loss and Garza was in talks with JCC but it got delayed.

Fighting Harada coming in as a sub and ko'ing Pone Kingpetch comes to mind. Simon Browns ko over Terry Norris was great but honestly he shouldn't have been ruled as a massive underdog. Props to Terry for masterclass boxing in rematch though! Vic Toweel beating Manuel Ortiz makes the grade! J.C Rubio with 20 losses coming in and schooling pumped up HBO flavor of the month Francisco Bajado is a fav Mayorga blitzing Six heads Lewis ??

Winky Wright against Shane Mosely, I am sure Shane was favourite and Winky out boxed him with ease twice. The second one was closer but Winky won.

I didn't think Oscar would cop such a beating by the Pacman, i really thought Pacquiao was in trouble before this fight. What i also didn't count on was Oscar's health and fitness team being so ridiculously stupid in the lead up to the fight! Oscar is guilty too, did he not know what was happening to his own body? It was still a shock to see DLH have the living suitcase belted out of him.

Agreed I was surprised that Pac Man beat Oscar but that was Oscar’s fault and even if it was a light middle Pac Man would have won but on points. I also though Oscar would beat Floyd at light middle but he lost that one too.

Lacy getting exposed the way he did was a massive upset as no one except Joe seemed to know what was about to happen. I guess this was a case of boxers seeing more than we could.

I think Hopkins has done this the most (maybe more than any othet fighter) but I think Jeff getting exposed was the biggest one sided upset.

I was dead wrong about Lacy, thought he'd take Joe out. And British fans did not mind rubbing it in either

But, thing that bothered me about that one was that A LOT of fans on here at the time were picking Robin Reid to beat Jeff Lacy, then when he got smashed they just pretended it never happened and went on to the next hope which was Joe.

Hopkins def has come through with a large amount of surprising victories. He's been very consistent over the years and made me happy to have picked him every time. Except last time out against Dawson, oh and his razor thin loss to Calzaghe. Fuckin Calzaghe....
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
