I have to google how to do everything - even how to shut it down can you believe (four clicks now) !! And when you google it you will see there's loads asking same questions. There's no start menu which is confusing as fuck - I still have no idea how to find programs on there.

I mean aren't these new interfaces supposed to be designed so you need little assistance ?? Who did the fucking UAT testing. If we ever introduce Windows 8 at work to 3000 users I will go off sick (I run the user support section at Leeds office)

Apart from that do not get me started on the nightmare of transferring itunes !!! Took me about 4-5 hours to sort that and still have a few dozen tracks that itunes won't find (even though they are on pv)). Apple are cunts.

Mars-ax : brilliant time mate. If it wasn't so far I would go again - especially staying on the ranch in Bandera which was the highlight. You ever done the ranch thing ?? Texans are the friendliest people ever. Thank god it clouded over after 4-5 days too as the heat was just unbearable !!
I'm glad to hear you enjoyed yourself, the Austin/San Antonio area you visited is one the nicest places in Texas, so much history and so much to do. As for ranches, I have friends who own ranches, but if I go visit it's just a social/business thing, i'm not really into horses, herding/branding/breeding cattle, et al.
Anyway, if you ever visit Texas again, let me know in advance and i'll meet with you.

cheers

P.S. Win 8 sounds like a piece of shit.
