Wow I go out partying for New Year's and miss all the fireworks on here.

Contrary to what our ethnically and mentally-challenged hoodlum friend says on here... quitting in boxing is not limited nor exempt from any boxing nationality. I noticed he blatantly chose to ignore the biggest quit job of all time... the Golden Boy staying on his stool after being thoroughly thrashed and humiliated by the handpicked, smaller opponent he was hoping to feast upon at the end of his career. Sat on the stool and just said "I've had enough."

What's the matter, my ghetto-dwelling friend... can you not see things in boxing with the objective eye of the intelligent person you think you are? I would've hoped the New Year would've brought you even a shred of wisdom. Did Santa not treat you well this year again?

I didn't realize my post was gonna create World War III

Hopefully this doesn't start anything....according to Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated the Adamek-Cunningham rematch registered 3.2 million viewers on NBC.

Excellent news for Boxing...especially considering NBC had no commercials prior saying a live card would be shown at that time. To my knowledge at least.

Compare these numbers to what the UFC gets in primetime.
UFC on FOX 5 pulls 3.41 million viewers in overnight television ratings - MMA Fighting

I think it's safe to say there will be more boxing on network TV this year

To be fair to Canelo the quality of Jr's opposition was, well to put it lightly much better. He was getting his ass handed to him by the the man of the division.
