Default Would a prime Tommy Morrison be champion if he was boxing now?

I have always felt Morrison was underated in his prime.

He was unlucky to be boxing in the second best decade of HWs,the 90's.

Looking at The Rings now out of date top 10 HW of today,I think Morrison would stand a great chance against any of them apart from Sam Peters who might be to strong for the Duke.

    1-Klitschko
    2-Rahman
    3-Toney
    4-Liakhovich
    5-Brewster
    6-Ruiz
    7-Byrd
    8-Brock
    9-Peter
    10-Valuev

    What a motly crew.

aside from Wlad Tommy would be the most dominant HW today if that was the case. He had tremendous skills and only lost them to his moviestar lifestyle.

Well he had a great left hook that was able to KO a faded Razor Ruddock.A very good KO by the way.

Beat Joe Hip while boxing with a broken jaw.

He was also able to out box big George over 12 rounds.

But..............he got badly KOd by Ray Mercer,Lewis and Michel Bentt.

In short when his mind was on the job he was very good, but when it wasent he was bad.
He was a kill or be killed type of boxer.

Brewster, Wlad, Peter and Valuev might of caused trouble for him. Brewster would of brawled so maybe would of got knocked out but remember tommy didnt have the best chin and brewsters left hook could do some damage, Wlads right hand would of koed tommy...but tommys left hook was not something to be messed with so if he landed it clean it could of been a problem, Peter would brawl and maybe have too much power and Valuev...plain too big.

His win over Ruddock was a great KO when you think that Tyson could not stop him even thought Ruddocd was a faded fighter.

His win over Foreman supprised a lot of fans as well.

But if you want to watch the most brutal KO ever you got to watch his loss to Ray Mercer.
