Even the dart board looks about 20 years old and the fans are silent!

I watched the other darts final the other day and it was amazing.

Scores are like 45, 43, 83, 59. I watched a set yesterday without even a 140.

i keep track of my averages now in practice - only early 60s. Way off the mark (too many 26 scores). Then again I don't prctice 6 hours a day like these guys

These 2 are the bests so far, but they will end up averaging in the 80s

BDO has done it's job in the past great Champion's, but the big money is with Barry Hearns { PDC }
with millions to be earned.

I actually used to be a really good player, but haven't picked a dart for about 15 years. Me and my mate were 2 of the best in town (I had a few 11 dart 501s). My mate carried on playing, when I stopped and went on to be top of the county averages (93 average for whole season) and played on circus tavern stage with Mardel, Whitlock, and Lewis, amongst others. I actually believe that if I had've committed to darts I could've got somewhere, may start again one day, but missus won't let me gave board up in house LMAO

11 darters are impressive. I once had a 13 darter but have only maybe had a dozen or so ever under 18. Like I said its ok throwing a 140 but not when your next 12 darts only add up to 130 ! I've said it many times before and I will again - I really think darts should get more recognition for the skill the PDC guys show to throw for three hours with the accuracy they do.

You should put a board up by way of violence. I have my own dart room filled with boxing memorabilia where my rules only apply. Often just throw while a live footie match is on.

Actually on doubletopdartshop site right now trying to choose some new arrows. Real pain in arse there are no proper sports shop any more that stock them - all cheapo Mike Ashley shops in Leeds. Mail ordering not the best for things like darts.
