I once put wall paper up and was a bit light with the paste. Later that evening whilst we were eating the wall paper came off in front of all the family. I have not lived that one down either.

Scrimping on wall paper paste? :-) are you sure you are not Jewish or Scottish? Must have saved yourself a whole 99p there. Why not go the whole hog and make your own paste with flour and water.
