Toney was on anabolics when he beat Ruiz and Holyfield was coming off a loss when he fought Toney.

I may have overstated Roy's win but it was much better than the Baldomir win that Floyd has. And if its so easy then why hasn't it been done in over a century? Chad Dawson should have no problem beating Povetkin if its so simple. He's just an ABC title holder and nothing but a contender, right? He was over 30 lbs heavier than Roy on fight night ... that is conclusively better than Floyd over 135. Its actually like Floyd fighting Chad Dawson.

I'm still loling at Floyd's work over 135 ... the only decent name is Cotto.

It hasn't been done in over a century because there has never been a more beatable heavyweight champion.

You don't seem to get that all Roy did was give away 30lb to a heavyweight. Holyfield was giving 30lb to Bowe and Lewis. David Haye gave Valuev 100lb (lol).

Adamek stepped up to heavyweight and is successful giving away more than 30lbs. Dawson, Hopkins, Tarver, Calzaghe, Ward etc - I'd bet plenty of these guys could beat an average heavyweight, but could they have beat Lennox Lewis, Wlad/Vitali, Tyson in his pomp? No! They'd get killed. Just like Roy would have if he challenged THE real champ at the time - Lewis.

The middleweights from the past were challenging guys like - Louis, Marciano, Corbett etc. What Roy did isn't even in the same ballpark.

(Floyd's win over Baldomir was for the lineal welterweight title, it wasn't a great win, and it wasn't as good as Roy's over Ruiz (I said that tongue in cheek) but it has more significance than beating an alpahbet holder)
