Not sure where you're at in your training BoxerJordan, but mattboxingfan touches on an important issue that relates to nerves and confidence..and performance. The one thing that will overcome it best. Good preparation. And for this sport far too many beginners underestimate the importance of good cardio. Often the deciding factors in amateur fights.
Now I don't prescribe to a run a few miles every day deal. But distance running isn't a bad place to start. Then move into better more explosive related things.
