Who sanctions horseshit like this To start I'm talking about Jones continuing to "fight" let alone Collins coming out of the seniors home. I got respect for Collins, but come on man. Boxing fans are conned enough with bad judges and mismatches as it is.

If your giving Collins respect for trying to get a fight at this stage of his life, (we cant say career!) then dont.

Collins is stupid and deluded enough to think that Roy is completely washed up and an easy fight now. Roy may well be completely washed up for any fighter that has been active and has some desire but for a 48 year old man who hasnt fought for 16 years (and who tried a comeback at still a relatively young age only to be knocked out in sparring and back in to retiremen while stil relatively young) Roy is far too much.

Theres loads of examples of once good fighters coming back against seemingly lower tier fighters, justblook at Hatton, or Tyson. They retire for a reason. For Collins to be competative he would need some low level bums to have a handfull of warmups but he doesnt want that which ismwhynI think its more to do with cash.

Iv got nothing against old fighters coming out of retirement to fight fellow old fighters, like Azumah Nelson against Jeff Fennech, Nelson was 50 and hadnt fought for 10 years! He put up a good show but Collins doesnt have the skill that Nelson has and the shots he used to take 16 years ago will drop him now.
