The only advantage they have over Jackson is a) fighting in a time where you could fight a ton of guys who had no business being in the ring and b) not having film footage and highlight reels, so all we have to judge them by is sensationalized newspaper headlines, old guys who wanna tell you about how it was "BACK IN MY DAY" and hyperbole spewed by huckster "historians" who want to show you how far back their knowledge goes.
If you wanna say some skinny white guy from the 20's hit harder than Julian Jackson, then I will say GOOD DAY TO YOU SIR.
Job Biscuit Eh!! Eh!!
Only 25% of Jimmy Wilde's opponents had winning records.
Jimmy Wilde STINKS.

Then good day to you sir because that's exactly what I'm saying. If you are going to use this phantom p4p equation its not even close. And to your following post, so what if x amount of fighters had winning records. When you fight once a week you can lose. If one were to factor in the 3 to 6 hundred fights not listed at boxrec its a runaway.
As to "job biscuit eh eh" I don't follow.
Modern day Jackson or Valero. All time no biscuit.
If you fed Julian that kind of opposition he'd have a 100% KO ratio.
Hell I'd say even ol' cotton fist Paulie Malignaggi would have been over 60%.
I'm sick of these old fossils getting a free ride!

Golovkin is heavy handed but not a big single puncher like Adonis Stevenson who is the biggest puncher today.
