Floyds at a big disadvantage north of 147.
Why should he risk that at his age.
He should stay at 147 for the rest of his career and finish 47-0

Are you kidding?
Surely boxing fans want to watch the BEST possible match-ups, even if you're a huge fan of the particular fighter? You would really prefer Floyd dosses around at 147 - beating Alexander/Bradley/Marquez, fights that are over before they even start - than challenge Martinez or Alvarez or any fucking one that makes us think they have a slight CHANCE!!!
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.

Floyd will never fight a top rank fighter.
Martinez should step up to 168 and fight ward instead of picking on the little guys (chavez was massive so whats the excuse not to move up!?)
Canelo can grow some balls and fight trout (the guy who beat cotto AND his brother!)
Floyds the money pot. If these guys really want to make waves, drop to 147 and beat the best at it. (150 could be possible)
Yes, i want the best fights fenster but i cant see floyd disadvantage himself yet again for a martinez or canelo fight at there weight divison.

I have no issues with this fight if it actually gets made. Never thought it had a chance because they are buddies like Ward and Dirrell. Not sure why people are writing it off as some escape route. Kinda comical really.
Hearn has a pretty iron clad hold on the fight.
Number 1 we have a signed contract to fight Devon Alexander for the IBF Title. Number 2 If they want Alexander v Mayweather to be a unification they would have to ask for an exemption from the IBF which is very unlikely given we already have signed contracts AND any exemption would have to take place within 90 days of last bout. We questioned the injury and now we await news from Golden Boy which, given the news that they are looking to enter the UK promoting market should be interesting. We will fight tooth and nail for Kelvin Brook and thanks for your support.
