Pathetic news! After Calzaghe gave Lacy a boxing clinic, I thought he would move on to bigger and better things. I would love to see him move up to light-heavy after he kicks the crap of that fraud Taylor.

Just like to firstly make the point that Flyod actualy HAS 'big name' fighters who don't have a fight lined up calling him out, calzaghe doesn't....

Secondly nothing has been signed, there is not hint on warrens site, calzaghes or the BBC that calzaghe has had any talks over this, this 'might' happen but at the same time could be some rumor put out by Spinas camp hoping to corner calzaghe into fighting him..

It still shocks me to see comments made about 'calzaghe get some balls, move up fight in the usa bla bla' in theroy fighting some world class fighter would be great. Winky talked about fighting him, nothing came of it (i don't blame winky way to small for SMW) What great fighter is there for him to fight? Taylor and kessler are the only two real challengers i think there are for calzaghe right now and both have fights lined up.

Truth is, for the availability of fighters out there right now id much rather see joe take an easy match, come through it, then take on the winner of kessler/byer, johnson/woods or a catch w8 fight with taylor for his next fight - Tbh f*** RJJ or hopkins, both had enough chances to fight calzaghe when they were all at thier prime, say what you want but Joe made it crystal clear he was ready to go to the usa and fght either one - both priced thems elves out. Now beating either one of them would have the critics simply saying he beat a washed up RJJ or an old Hopkins.
