2005 and 2001. Those are the fights you use as an example? Yea a decade ago......he was very offensive minded. Fans are not thinking about what he did 10 years ago, pre-mma. People want action not decisions.

Yes I very much appreciate Floyd's skill in the sweet science, but how many fans do? People want ko's. right know Adrian is giving people that. Hbo is banking in it.

I'm also not saying Adrian will be better than Floyd, but he is replacing Floyd at hbo.

Broner will be a big star in boxing if he stays on course. He's just so goddamn exciting.

He is probably 3x more obnoxious than Floyd is (which is really saying something), but Floyd proved that you don't have to be beloved to sell tickets.

People will pay to see Broner fighter, whether it's because they wanna see his athleticism or they wanna see him get KTFO.

    I saw the racism.

I strongly protest that the thread starter is banned.

I think Floyd moving to Showtime could be a good thing for HBO

I'm hoping now that they have a little loose change around they'll concentrate on putting on fights people want to see

I can see them starting to develop a group of stars & hopefully making excellent fights...

Agreed they should spread the money around on a number of rising stars.

Yep, that way they can have a star for every type of fight fan. End up having multiple superstars.

You don't "replace" Floyd just how Oscar wasn't replaced.
You use the next best option.
