Default Huck - Afolabi 3, May 25th In Germany

Huck-Afolabi on May 25th in Germany, DKP Wins Bid - Boxing News

This is a great fight to be made, I really enjoyed the first two fight and I think Ola was unlucky not to get the nod last time out. Again, I think this will be another war, the rounds will be really close and it could go either way. I just hope Ola can do it this time.

Don King will default on the purse bid, like he did late last year for Arreola-Stiverne.

I think Ola might get Huck this time around. If I remember correctly...watching live I thought Huck won...I watched it again the other day and thought Huck gave away too many of the early rounds. He roared back but ultimately came up short.

    Should be another brawl

Looking forward to this! Should be another cracking tussle

King doesn't promote either guy so I'm wondering where he's going with this?

I hate to admit it but Huck gets my respect, this is another tough fight for him and he does not shy away from challenges like some other German fighters.

Definitely, was very unlucky not to get the win against Povetkin too. Loads of respect for this guy

Default Huck - Ofolabi III on June 8th in Berlin

One fight I'm definitely looking forward to is this

Marco Huck vs. Ola Afolabi III on June 8th in Berlin
Posted by: Boxing Clever on 4/28/2013 .

It is now clear: the trilogy fight between WBO champion Marco Huck (35-2-1, 25 KO's) and interim titlist Ola Afolabi (33 years, 19-2-4, 9 KO's) will take place in Berlin on June 8th at the Max-Schmeling-Halle. Both opponents first fought in December 2009, and Huck won a close fight with scores of 115:113, 115:113 and 116:112. In April 2012, they met again in Erfurt and fought to a twelve round draw (114:114, 114:114 and 115:113).

Sauerland Event, who promote Huck, secured the rights to the fight after Don King, who won the purse bid, was unable to finalize the event within the required time period.

Sauerland Event General Manager Chris Meyer stated - "Once that was clear, we quickly reached an agreement with Tom Loeffler of K2 Promotions, who represents the interests of interim champion Ola Afolabi, on the event date. The championship fight is on June 8 and it will be held in Berlin. Huck vs. Afolabi III will be shown live on ARD."

Huck wants to set the record straight on home soil.

"Ola Afolabi is indeed a tough one. Yet again he will make my life very difficult. In Berlin, I will set the record straight," Huck said.

That sounds like they do not like one another which means it will be an all out war. Is this on Box Nation?

The last one was , but I've just checked the schedule and it's not there yet. Hopefully it will be though.
