Floyd was a class above and he knew it all a long there have been better showings of aggression from Floyd. Even his last fight with Cotto at 154lb, the last round he went for the stoppage.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

Augustus vs Mayweather is one of my favorites.

I don't think Gatti was shot. People forget he was riding a huge wave of popularity and was looked at as having evolved and rejuvinated his career under Buddy Mcgirt, and he was also a WBC 140 world champ (I know it was vacated by Kosta Tyszu, but still was a championship belt). Floyd was looked at as the smaller man coming up, and a lot of people were excited about this fight and thought Gatti's power and rough and tumble style would give Floyd problems.

Unfortunately for Gatti and fans, it was one of the most onesided PPV megafights of all time.

Gatti may have been a little shot, but Floyd looked the best i'd ever seen on offense, a brutal display of what he can do when he wants to. BTW, before you start calling a Floyd nuthugger, i've been a Floyd hater forever.
