Hatton had a better 6th round, but took some big shots towards the end. Van Heerden is cut, but he is taking the fight to Hatton.

Van Heerden was just awful. Hatton wants to retire after this. He just lost to a mediocre Welter without putting in any kind of effort.

He's nowhere need good enough to have been fighting for all the world titles he has fought for.
