I don't think it's possible for Floyd to fully trust anyone who is not family. Floyd is a real smart guy who has seen a lot, so he keeps the real Floyd and his plans tucked away. Floyd will never give control of any part of his life to anyone.
I've never met or talked to Floyd, but I think Floyd is a closed system and you have to be family to to get in.
