Nobody will challenge Wlad it's that simple. He's too far ahead in the game and even the best and brightest young stars won't advance fast enough to worry Wlad.
If someone like Wilder or David Price could hit Wlad on the chin then I bet that'd worry him a lot
Yes but that's an irrelevant statement.

Because if I hit Wlad on the chin it'd cause him serious problems.
Don't flatter yourself, but I get the point

Thing is, Wilder is too raw and Price is coming off of a highly improbable KO loss.

Mitchell is coming off of a less improbable, but still upset KO loss.

Like Master said though, if they hit the jackpot it sure would be fun to watch.
Not to nitpick when it's not really the point of the thread, but Tony Thompson was a long time top 10 heavyweight who's really big and Jonathon Banks is a smallish ex-cruiserweight who'd been ko'd in his only notably fight in that division. I wouldn't say Prices loss was worse than Mitchells for a highly favoured fighter.

Anyhow, really the only fight that'd be a good match on paper would be Wlad-Povetkin, and in reality Wlad's just too big for him. It'd seem one side or the other really doesn't want that fight seeing as Povetkin became Wlads mandatory more than 4 bleeding years ago and they still haven't fought.

I thought Perez was going to start to steamroll and get into a position to challenge. Perhaps he's drunk with freedom. Maybe Sturm is sitting on him but dam I was starting to have Savon flashbacks. Whats he waiting for? If the division gets anymore ripe it will be top soil.
