I somewhat agree with Smashup. In terms of the new Star Wars I will definitely not watch them. The original 3 films are cracking fun, but the last 3 were just horrid, turgid, humourless, vapid preambles to something that was very enjoyable. Any moderate interest in Star Wars was destroyed with that trilogy. Seeing Anakin turn into pure evil was supposed to be a wickedly brilliant demise of the soul, but it was more like that Britney Spears impersonator on You Tube. So even in finally turning 'dark' it did it in a weak filling in the blanks way. Very contrived. And so with any new films, I would just prefer to stay away. The first 3 is Star Wars and that is Star Wars done for me. It would be the same with a new Indiana Jones film, I would just avoid it. Superman is another one that I wouldn't bother with. They had a chance to redeem the Superman flicks and they just ruined it some more. It's better to just stay with what was untarnished and draw a line in the sand of today.
