3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
I saw Fury fight Maddalone last summer as one of his fights was televised and I thought he was rubbish TBH, but people seemed to be getting high on it. 'You do know it was Vinny Maddalone, right?' I would venture to faces that didn't seem to understand. After all, he won the fight and was undefeated. The same people talk about Khan in such positive spirits too though now minus the unbeaten record, these are not boxing fans, they are sporting nationalists.
Fury won't go far as he just isn't very good. He would be an ideal Klitschko opponent.
The only person that thinks Tyson Fury is the best fighter on the planet is Tyson Fury. (and Possibly Ross)The complete bollocks that you just trotted out about Khan though bears some re-examination. Khan is an incomparably better boxer than Fury. Nationalism has nothing to do with it. Khan has been in with Kotelnik, Malignaggi, Maidana,Mckloskey,Judah,Peterson,Garcia and Diaz amongst others whereas Fury has fought at nowhere near that level of competition. Khans hand speed and punch output marks him out as an exciting and decent boxer something that can't really be said about Fury who has nowhere near Amir's level of ability. It is Ironic that in the rush to accuse people of being blinded by non-objective patriotism you can not recognise the same lack of objectivity in your own biased damnation of Khan.
Also I don't really See what type of Sporting Nationalist is going to get behind An English born Born boxer who apparently sees himself as being Irish.
“I think have showed my true colours over the years. I vacated the British and Commonwealth titles, which some people say are more prestigious than the Irish title, but not to me. I vacated those belts for an Irish title shot because it meant more to me,” Fury said.
“All my people are from Ireland. I was born in Manchester but I am Irish. I have lived in Ireland, visited all my life and when I fight I represent Ireland. It means a lot to me as does the support I get when I fight in Belfast.
“Even when I was disowned by some when I wanted to fight for Ireland in the Olympics I still said I was Irish. Right from the start of my career I always had the Irish colours with me and when I win a World title it will be for Ireland.”
I suppose Irish nationalism is OK with you anyway Miles, as Long As he isn't proud to be English then everything is hunky Dory. Can't see the Irish queuing up to get behind him though.

If he was black with a bald head, he would be right up your alley. Right? You should try to respect everyone who gets in the ring.
Gandalf, if all those useless second and third tier fighters were not around, how would you know whose nether regions to focus your attention on or complain about?
