While he is doing a fine second rate version of Floyd's current persona...he doesn't have Mayweather's pedigree and skill.
I'm not really arguing with anything you said but I don't think we know exactly how good--in the ring--Broner is yet.
Broner dreams big, he doesn't want to be like Floyd, he wants to go far beyond Floyd's image. IMO
He doesn't have Floyd's skill set or professionalism at the same stage of their careers. Broner could dream as big as he wants...but if he gets sparked and loses...no one will care about his act. I am not hating on the guy for being a douche bag to sell tickets. That is business. I am just reminding people that Floyd was already a supremely skilled and accomplished fighter before he became "Money." Broner is untested and already thinks he is the heir apparent. We shall see.
Floyd is a couple of steps above other fighters.
Broner could be a step below Floyd and still go undefeated. I'm not saying that's going to happen but it is possible.
I don't see anything wrong with the progress Broner is making,
he doesn't seem to be avoiding anyone and he certainly is moving up quickly.
We will know a lot more after Paulie.
