This fight is on Box Nation.![]()
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
It is sad that decades after its been used in every other sport it has been brought to boxing and deemed revolutionary, I suppose better late than never but good god man.

I think Replay was given the green light by Nevada and Jersey about 5,6 years ago here. But hard pressed to think of many times we've actually "watched" it play out or be used? I understand it was at the Refs discretion which kinda goes against the whole idea. They couldn't use it for iffy KDs and how many refs are ready to overrule themselvesNon knockdowns are the biggest reason for having it in the first place I think. Lets face it as long as there are these shit judges and shoddy Officials how confident can we be in a replay system. We need an outside entity or a 'team' review on it. Neutral party etc
A FNF fight with Anthony Thompson from a few years ago comes to mind. Thompson was winning, he caught a headbutt and ref ruled it a punch. Teddy atlas, crowd and camera people were handing ref and officials mointors and replaying it as it was clearly not a punch. Ref ignored the obvious. Even though they eventually overturned the "tko" he still lost on record...even though he was ahead on cards![]()

About time boxing caught up to the present
Sure to be some issues but I think it's a move that needed to happen

Agreed and there will be some burps along the way but its time to evolve. Judging should be next. Instant replay would effectively end the screw ups on what caused a cut. That in and of itself is worthy of using this technology. The cynic in me thinks that this will be implemented in this particular fight because Martinez is fighting Murray. The optimist in me hopes they implement this at least at the start for all title fights.

Yeah just looking back as recently as the Bradley/ Provodnikov fight, that 1st round could have been reviewed & we may have had a different result
I think this is a good move for boxing & once the wrinkles are ironed out it should become a useful tool for hopefully all top level events
