SRL's team said they wanted it over 15 rounds and Haglers camp to be difficalt said straight away it had to be over 12 rounds which Ray wanted in the first place.
Dont know if it is true but its a good story.

Yeah I don't know about that, Haglar was one of the best conditioned fighters ever. By dropping the amount of rounds he was only making things harder for himself. Maybe he thought Leonard was much further gone & he'd be able to get him outta there early. Big mistake by Hagler if it's true!Originally Posted by TyBuff
