    I love a good prizefighter.

A great thing that has come out of it is the local versions. We've got one in my home city with a bunch of amateur fighters, no massive prize, but 7 great tear ups.

Is it the same format as normal amateur? 3x2 mins?

It's essentially an amateur format that can be exciting due to the format & bonuses on offer for a knockout. It gives a a decent payday to the winner & not bad change to the rest but it's nothing to get to excited about really, just a bit of fun.

I think it says a lot for this when 'Ordinary' Harrison has won it twice!
Exactly as he said. It attracts guys who only want action and 100s of punches thrown and in my opinion dont really understand the sweet science. Its good for fighters as it gives them a chance to get a bit of exposure and can lead to title shots etc.

Prizefighter is fun but should not be taken too seriously and no way should the winner get a European title shot off the back of it like Audley did.

How much bank do you lot put into the winners of the Prizefighter tournaments ?

I've only caught replays of a few and heavyweight Mike Perez was the most impressive.
I just want to see a good fight! That's the appeal of Prizefighter. I think that's what the majority of us want.

Perez was good, I would love to see him and Audley at it. Think Tyson could do it and Holyfield.
