Not to get into a facetious debate with you, but I'm pretty sure that Missy's friend's mum didn't destroy communities, betray her roots or demand a state funeral. Thatcher chose to put herself in a very public position, and chose to make cuts that took away the livelihoods of millions of people, and took great satisfaction in doing so. She got her family a place among the elite at the expense of millions of other families, I'm sure a strong and heavy handed police presence will be insisted upon to make sure those noble children of hers like Sir Mark Thatcher (yes, that one involved in a revolution in Africa, that very same buffoon who got lost in the Paris-Dakar rally paid for by some of his family's cronies) can give her a good sendoff.

prob not and make no mistake I hated Thacher but I just see it as a very classless act to destroy anyone's funeral, head stone or grave.

I think the fact that each of us is contributing to the funeral gives us the right to have an opinion and to demonstrate that peacefully. I'm not advocating the kind of silliness that leads to people getting hurt, but I suspect a heavy-handed police presence may trigger responses from demonstrators.

Maybe having her remains placed in a hidden grave might avoid the vandalism that is almost inevitable for someone who inspired such feelings of loathing.

Well, we can only look up to the leaders of our society for guidance of how to act properly after having a few drinks, which is inevitable for such a grand occasion.
