WTF is wrong with Donaire's right eye? headbutt?

Congrats to Rigon, he fought a great fight, we have a new Cuban superstar.

Right on...thats the way it was.

Donaire got distracted and read the headlines. You could see this coming

Missed it, but doesn't sound like it was competitive. Any of you fellas want to see a rematch?

All the rounds I saw were close. I could see Donaire winning a rematch.

Donaire hasn't looked good vs boxers in past though, i remember that Argentian boxer giving him problems early on and making him look bad. Its just he threw virtually no punches in the 2nd half of the fight.

Right bud. He fell in love with his power and press I saw too...he looked totally unmotivated and hungry

It turned out to be a Rigon left hand on the eye.

All credit to Rigon, he erased all doubts about being just an overrated cuban amateur, Donaire was hitting air just about all night, and getting caught with beautiful counters.

I don't however believe i'm going to become a fan of the "jackel" anytime soon.

I've got to admit, Rigon was way better then I thought he was. Officially a UD for Rigon.

I'd love to see a rematch, either Rigon is great or Donaire wasn't at his best.

We are really on a good run of 'the right guy' getting wins on the cards so far this year..

The right guy won, but Lederman's scorecard was just insane, the only round he gave to Donaire was the 10th the KD round.

Not to take anything away from Rigon, he fought a brilliant fight and clearly won.

That was great to watch. I like how Donaire said he wasn't gonna make excuses than proceeds to give 3 of them

The thing, he landed hard punches too and did out land Donaire in every round but the KD round. I have to agree with Leaderman on this one, I don't always but I just did not see how Donaire won more than one. But I might have tunnel vision as I did bet on Rigo. I will watch the fight next week again.
