Look into James Scott. Not only did he go to prison he become a top contender while there and fought on the major networks a few times. Once they disbanded the boxing 'program' that was a wrap.
Sad story of Ricky Womack too. Top ama fighter who started well then went to prison. He cameback in 2000 (?) and had some sort of assist from Tyson, only to commit suicide. Unfortunatly this sport has seen too many come and go there. Some do make it back the entire way though.
A few weeks ago, I was looking for a clip of Tyson's maniacal laugh while talking about things he got into in prison, and came across this article:
