Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
if you truly want to protect your password and are paranoid about it, you'll use a combination of upper case/lower case/numbers of some length and than run it through this tester to see how crack-able it is.
How Secure Is My Password?
another precaution is to keep the password hidden so you don't have to type it. Use a file hidden on your PC somewhere only you know about, not on desktop or labelled anything like "secret password"...and then hide it within the test. then u can copy n paste it to prevent key logger programs from getting your stuff.
so, say a block of text that looks like this in a file. but pick a spot to copy from, like say this
dghbd9fdg8354tkjkhJFGkk4354KGhj4ggl5l$$Flhhljkkldt h578iyukrljgM@MMMMfygtghe4rksuckmyballscaptainddgf ly346hsdfgkulluipi0p[fdfbpFK5456678dfhktyjk235sdfgkFKGHKY875ghlkjFkhkj77bkghkj9ifhoghnfghlgfk346dfkjKCGL%l6klx fer56uyldfgngljkjkl.
the most common one is.... password
I have different levels depending on what its for... my paypal one is so stupidly complicated that i can never remember it and have to copy and paste the fucking thing from a secret file I have.
when the kids want to buy something off steam its a nightmare as i have to get them to set everything up ready for me to just put the password in and i look at it and say it over and over again in my head as i run up stairs and they aint allowed to talk to me or its gone, even then it still sometimes goes from my head before I get to their computers![]()
lol I'm the same. i leave easy ones for things i don't care about much, as in won't cost me money, even this place. like worst can happen some jackass gets in and posts horse porn or something all over the place. and can never remember the complicated ones because I use many, and have good memory, but not rain man memory.

I like my mums answer when asked for hers.. "Bollocks". The guy behind the video counter smiled and said 'thats great havent heard that one yet. Shes just on 80.
The first banking password I had was stupidly complex and forgotten next visit. Rule #1...never set up passwords drunk off your arse. A great default that I went with for awhile was 'You forgot that silly shit again huh dude?!' I mainly use favorite slogans now, spelled out in different accents...boxers and date of first loss and jumbled opponent name etc. I may be over thinking it a bit![]()
Twat.
here's a tip that may help you remember the complicated ones such as integrating letters, numbers and characters
pick a song or speech
use one line
substitute numbers for letters, etc
using Abe Lincoln's Gettysburg Address as an example:
Four score and seven years ago
4sc0r3&7y3ar5ag0
or something a tad simpler than that one above
4score&7yrsag0
you get the idea.
good luck!

cool idea
also don't do keyboard codes like "qwerty" as they are on the top of any hackers try list with 12345 and abcde etc
also do it backwards
or split the line/password in half and put the first half as the last half and the last half as the first half (flip flop the halves)
and if you want to make it even more challenging, after the flip flop, do it backwards!
bottom line, make sure you remember the line of the poem/song/speech and how you scrambled it.

My password is very complicated.
So much so that at least once a day I get it wrong.
You say tomato,
‘n I say …… it correctly.
