Lyle you are starting to sound like a right wing Brockton. You want Obama to appear weak and you want to believe that the press is some left wing liberal puppet that covers everything up. Do you really believe that Obama's predecessor Bush JR being told by the CIA that Al Qaeda were preparing an attack prior to 9/11 and then him responding "you've covered your ass now" before resuming his holiday is any different ? Mcain himself is not in the slightest bit interested in security issues or what actually went on he just wants to pick up an old stick and beat Obama with it. It smacks of desperation. Bigger than Watergate? Purlease.
Are you mental? Body count of Watergate = 0, Benghazi = 4. Lying, coverups, overall incompetence. Also this happened during a Presidential race....I don't care so much about that but the truth about Benghazi needs to come out.

And yes I am mental.

Bush was negligent repeatedly on a massive scale. People drowned in his own country, as he nonchalantly flew over their heads, he rigged the vote that saw him elected, he lead countless Americans to their deaths, but of course that is not relevant. To the rest of the world this smells like a witch hunt. Obama takes out Bin Laden and the Republicans get butt hurt because it does not feed into their idea that he is a pansy. There were protests all over the middle east at the time of the Bhenghazi incident, due to many reasons and the rest of the world saw them. Dieing from smoke inhalation results in the same thing as being shot or blown up. The idea that Obama is personally responsible for the safety of every American on foreign soil or that he would stand to gain something by allowing them to die sounds like a desperate attempt to smear his name, orchestrated by dumb men like McCain who turned down opportunities to attend briefings on the actual events in Libya in order to start media campaigns attacking Obama. The rhetoric being employed by Republicans totally undermines everything they say. Sour grapes from big babies who care about nothing but power and not one jot about America.

Yes, Bush was a bad President can we now over 4 years since he left office talk about the current President on his own right. I did not say that the President is personally responsible for what happened in Benghazi and had the official statement been that it was a coordinated AQ attack that was successful do to negligent planning and reaction furthermore the responsible parties have been relieved of their jobs then we wouldn't be talking about this. I often tell my children that lying only makes it worse and my Soldiers that bad news doesn't get better with time. Someone should remind all of DC of this. If all you can offer in this discussion is to point to Bush and how Obama is not quite as bad then you are really just making Lyle's points for him.

Hark at Lyle, ranting about the death of 4 people, but ignoring the hundreds of thousands dead because of what his country has carried out in the last generation or so. 'Oh, but they weren't sacred American blood, so what do we care'. It's actually quite funny seeing Lyle, implode with these recent threads and posts. I can't stand Obama either, but Lyle fails to notice the things that are far more significant. He will only pick up on the things his lunatic media tells him to pick up on.
I also find VC quite hilarious with his pompous spiel about there being no such thing as an illegal or legal war. So American. Of course it cannot be illegal if it is us doing it! Just as the lunatic Israeli's believe settlement building is nothing more than putting up trees in the park, it is America's god given right to inflict manifest destiny upon any nation should the whim to do so set in. 'Legality, no such thing'. Invade who you want when you want and see how that plays out if you are not of the annointed nations.
I resent the comparison to Lyle made by Missy too. He is off the hinges when it comes to politics. At least my politics focuses on real issues. With Lyle it is conspiracy theories and extremist dalliancing. Lyle cares about nothing except Obama and caring for four people is just a cover. It is clearly just a feeble attempt to attack Obama.
Such outrage about 4 dead overseas, but Lyle couldn't give a hoot about American people. Where is his outrage when American people are getting shot dead everyday? There is none because that doesn't fit the agenda. He would happily harp on about 4 people and ignore 30,000 shot every year.
miles in all seriousness go fuck yourself....I'm tired of your bullshit, I've been tired of it for quite a while. You are a coward and you're not half as smart as you think you are...you teach English, big whoopty fuck....you're a nobody, a nothing, a worthless blob of DNA that can type out complaints on a boxing website. Nobody cares about your class size, nobody cares about your cutting yourself, nobody cares about your hatred of America....nobody. You are but white noise, a minor ignorant disturbance of vile self loathing and hate. Go back to your own topics of "hot drinks" and whatever other nonsense you post about and leave the politics to people who have an understanding of what happened.
I cheers to the day they find you face down in the gutter where you belong and I mean every single syllable of that

I don't really understand the use of moral relativism to absolve the President. Whether Bush did the right things or not is irrelevant to what the current President did or didn't know and when he reacted. While some of this is obviously partisan it is also clear that an epic failure in leadership happened that resulted in American's dying and that the administration did not want to be 100% forthright with an election at hand. If nothing else the President should have openly admitted that gross negligence led to a loss of life and people were being fired for it.
