I like Monte Barrett at lot. He always gave 100% and upset Dominick Guinn (at the peak of his popularity), Owen Beck, and Joe Mesi in my book.
He also brought it against Valuev and David Haye.
Was cool seeing Monte KO Tye Fields in 1 round a few years back.
For a short while, Barrett was a top ten heavyweight and even fought a piece of the crown against Rahman.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
I've been thinking for a minute, and Monte Barret for a while was as good an example as I've got. It's a little different at HW since anyone can punch, but he was a great example of this guy. Not a big man or KO puncher, but just a cagey vet with enough pop to make a good few fights interesting if not upsets entirely.
Chisora... Even though hes only lost 3 times

I thought the idea was naming journeymen we enjoy watching. Hes past it now but in his prime he was a good fighter and always entertaining to watch. In his last 4 fights he fought guys with a combined record of 54-0 and 2 of those fights were close enough. He knows how to put on a show and he deserves credit for what he does.

But how is Monte Barrett a journeyman, but not Evander Holyfield or David Tua?

I would say that Barrett was a journeyman with a lot of upside, which addresses the title of the thread. He was always the "B" side in fights and a few times he really upset the apple cart.
Holyfield and Tua were always "A" side, big names. One is a hall of famer, and the other is the former #1 contender in the world.
Now, that they have become journeymen they have no upside at all.
