Glen Johnson has a stellar second half of his career! I am still amazed at B-Hop too. And, what's even more startling, guys are now EXTENDING their careers well into their 40's.

Take a look at the champions today, as opposed to 20-30 years ago. It was a normal thing to see a guy at 25 have a title. Now we see guys are 35 win their first title,etc...

You have to look at the journeymen these days, up-side. I think once the Klits retire, Tony Thompson has upside as well.

Yeh, Its a testament to both Johnsons and Hopkins mental make up which is def from the old school. Guys today with big push are steered to a trinket as much as the trinket steered to them. Johnson got the rep of a hard nut who wouldn't crack and was ripped off by up & comers who have come and gone career wise. Meanwhile he has only just very recently moved into the literal journeymans journeyman catagory. I don't know about Thompson...hes a tricky one. His best course is to bank it into a rematch with Price and hope for a repeat. But at his age, his weight and that hes already crumbled vs the premiere champ he might just slide into the mentality of a guy who excepts being a runner up and living off that. Also depends where Price goes.
