Ok, but however wrong they are for doing so, they did do it in the name of Islam.
More people commit these types of atrocities in the name of Islam than do in the name of any other religion or cause. We should try to understand why. Not pretend that that isnt true. I hate prejudice in all its forms. These two people are deranged and deluded. They would have done evil things whether they were Muslims or not. They would have found another cause to kill for.
I think it's basically - A mentalist + Muslim grievences + radical teaching + sections of the Qu'ran relating to martyrdom = The rare incidents of attacks in the name of Islam.
