Jeez I don't know if I agree with that. Chinny or not, Khan is a fantastic boxing talent with the skill and speed to potentially be a handful for Floyd.

On the reward part, what does Floyd really gain? He's beating a 140lber who got brutally beaten less than a year ago. I realize he'll make a lot of money off of it, but I think at this point in his career Floyd can make a lot of money fighting just about anyone.
Come on, @Beanflicker . Just once, let's agree on this.

Amir Khan will pose exactly 0 danger for Floyd Mayweather. A guy who goes life and death with Julio Diaz poses no danger for Floyd Mayweather. Same with Guerrero, a guy who went life and death with Gamaliel Diaz and Orlando Salido, just isn't going to be a challenge for Floyd Mayweather. It doesn't matter if he has the fastest hands in the business, or is the toughest. Their flaws are too great for a master technician.

Amir Khan is a great fight for Floyd for exactly those reasons. Showtime's footing the bill. Why wouldn't he face one easy fight after another?

Again, this is nothing against Amir Khan. He's a great talent. It's just at the end of the day, for some reason, it doesn't all come together to make a guy who will give Floyd Mayweather problems.

In any event, wasn't the Lucas Matthysse/Lamont Peterson winner supposed to fight Danny Garcia, and the winner of that against Amir Khan?
