Nasty cut, but they could have let him see out the round. I'm not sure how they will have this, plus the punches caused the cuts there.

Agreed, didn't help that the Doctor wasn't decisive, almost looked like he was asking permission. But you needed rubber cement to stop that cut

Wow! How about THAT. The Commissioner Mike Mazzulli changes result right there, rules a TKO as a result of instant replay on live interview. I just don't understand the refusal to use replay world wide.

Someone with a brain and common sense, a hard combination to find at times.

Justice was served. Had the decision been for Hernandez, after it was ruled an accidental headbutt, it would've been a damn shame. Good case for replays indeed. Replays clearly showed it was two right hands which opened up the cut. Can't blame the ref for thinking headbutt, though. Hernandez has a nasty habit of leading with his head. What was it... 8 of his fights stopped because of headbutts? Someone got to teach that boy how to fight.

He knows how to fight, he just needs to learn how to fight CLEAN.

Sucker was winning the fight for a while there, hell probably was up by a point or two at the time of the stoppage, but the momentum had shifted and Rodriguez was taking control.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"

I like teddy atlas and his analysis of the matysse v Peterson fight.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
