If this fight did 1 million buys then that's nine million dollars that the fighters/promoters get to split before that gate, HBO, sponsorship and foreinn TV sales are calcaulated. In America Ward/his promoter gets a chunk of a half full west coast stadium and whatever HBO pay.

There is absolutely no question that a UK PPV Froch is the biggest possible payday for Ward.
