You mean like Rigondeaux? He was hyped from the beginning for his amateur career, and he turned out to be pretty good.
Oscar was hyped from the beginning, he turned out all right and a real cash cow.
Just because a fighter is well thought off, with outstanding potential and is brought along steadily and slowly does not mean there's reason to criticize.
I can't understand why success pisses so many of you off. I was down on Rigondeaux, but I had to change my mind when he was successful.
