I was surprised to read that Las Vegas is its own state. And they have their own boxing commissioner which makes it a neutral venue. New Jersey is also its own state and also has its own boxing commissioner which according to Froch's own logic means that Ward Froch 1 took place in a neutral venue.

I think this is Froch just opening his mouth and saying anything to make the papers more than anything else. Neither guy has fought in Vegas or is liable to be a big draw there so the casinos won't be showering money on this fight.
