He's a bad man. Let's see how he fares against Macklin, his first true top ten test. Macklin beat Sturm and fought Martinez well for a few rounds.

GGG is one tough bastard...every fight fan should either love him or at the very least fear for his opponents. He is a warrior!

HELL I've been tell you lot this Golovkin is the real deal, Macklin is brave taking this fight but
he will get sparked, be surprised he goes 3 rounds as Macklin is very easy to hit.!
Golovkin is a big puncher and this fight is all wrong for Macklin, GGG is going to be the best
middle weight in the division, I feel he is a bit special.!

He's like a few other fighters around now.

He's raved about but hasn't really been in with a tough opponent.

Macklin will not be stopped by GGG, lets see how he does against a guy that he can't stop and can hit back.

However Macklin does slow late I fights, he's known for it, Martinez, Moore, etc, etc.
    You say tomato,

    Macklin doesnt have a prayer

Adam smith made a good point when he said Golovkin is like a bigger version of kostya tszyu. He will come straight at matthew who will try to run at first but when that doesnt work he will open up to end his own suffering quicker

If you want, I'll sig bet you that Golovkin sparks him. No way does Macklin last the distance. Not a chance.

I'm skeptical on the guy also. I think him somewhat of a hype job whose wins thus far against sub par competition are blown way out of proportion so I'm not convinced. If he blows Matthew out like most say he's going to do then I'll move towards the wagon.

It is the accumulation of evidence. The amateur pedigree. The efficiency of his technique. Those short hooks and his natural marching of the opponents into corners. The testimony of sparring partners. The views of those who box, train and know the game. The opposition may not have been great but he has hardly been managed. He has been crying out for sterner competition and that speaks of confidence. He does not come across as arrogant and that will help him to not underestimate anybody. He has power in both hands and a killer instinct to finish people quickly. He can be hit but his chin appears OK so far and Macklin will be a step up, but GG is improving and I think Matthew has hit his peak already. By that I do not mean he is declining, far from it but Golovkin is already better and accelerating away. Will be a great fight though.

You know he almost had me convinced that the world was ducking him and was looking more and more like a fighter that pedigree would suggest he should be and then I watched the Rosado fight. Sure Gabriels corner chucked in the towel but this immoveable GGG force looked anything but and took a lot of shots almost looking a tad buzzed at times by a guy who is just an average puncher. Kinks in the armor were shown in that fight. Seems like a nice enough guy. I just don't think he's as unstoppable as some do.

Have you been listening to Spencer Fearon? ()

Ola Afolabi, who's sparred with Golovkin, said he hits harder than some heavyweights.
    3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
