i disagree with that, i mean some think hes invincible but its not the case atall i mean i seen him hurt by corley and judah with one punch at a time and he gets knocked back but he such a good fighter he always has the presence of mind to defend strait after that and none of the punches after the big punch actually land!!i mean when you lose the first two rounds of a twelve round fight and then come back to dominate almost the entire rest of the fight like he did against judah it shows hes not invincible cos he does sometimes loose rounds, even when the second should have been 10-8:P

but he came back and dominated like a real champ should!
Agreed. No. Floyd is not invincible...I'm a massive Floyd fan...but everyone man can be beaten at any given time.

    No exceptions.
    with one exception

    me of course

would you try to knock out a fighter who just sh i t on him self?

    didnt think so

I think that he gave Floyd a hard time in the first fight...no doubt...anyone that couldn't see that...or admit to that is lying to themselves...but I do believe that he won & if you watch the fight for or against Floyd & check the punchstats...they don't lie.

    Again...check the punchstats...they don't lie.

I honestly saw the second fight closer for Taylor...but the first fight...Hopkins won or should have won that fight.

    Nothing subjective there.

Sure...we can agree there. Hatton lost that fight or either it should have landed on draw...but I truly believe that Collazo (like Hopkins in the first Taylor fight) did enough to win & if the champ/title holder does that...he should keep his title.

    punch stats lie all kinds.

i posted a thread about this a while back, im gonna try and find it for you.
it was the ultimate burn on punch stats

I am somewhat a Mayweather fan, but at the same time I agree with most people when they say that Mayweather duck a lot of opponents. He is very skilled with a combination of speed and power, but many top ranked boxers could be undefeated if they chose the safe route like Mayweather. He has made a name for himself now it's time to step up and fight the Mosley's Delahoya's, Cotto's, Hatton's. If Mayweather took all 4 of those guys out with UD/TKO/KO which I think would be hard but not impossible for him, I would consider him the greatest ever.

of those 4 great fighters you mentioned, 3 of them turned mayweather down (common knowledge for those who follow the sport)

the one left is cotto, now is cotto or baldomir the bigger/better fight at 147?

I think that PBF is one of those elite athletes that comes into boxing every generation. He truly has mad skills in the ring. The only thing that makes me wonder is that he really hasnt done it against the best opposition. He hasnt fought nobodies but has fought the fighters that made him look good. He hasnt been challenged in the ring since the 2 Castillo fight. At this point I am not sure if it is because he is that great or if it is because his opposition is making him look that great. I would like to see him settle in one division, unify, and rule that division for a year or so.

Of course Mayweather get's turned down when he believes that he is the main attraction and demands most of the purse. Also common knowledge. I suppose all I can say is that we will see if and when he fights anyone that both of us agree is a serious contender.

he DESERVES more than half the pures being that he is the consensus best fighter in the sport of boxing today, even though he was willing to do parity with BOTH mosely and de lahoya.

and hatton would only take the fight with floyd if he got a ridiculous 8 figure purse (maybe he was pricing himself out of that one? you think?)

    and stop with cotto.............

hes not close to margaritos level, and hes even further than baldomirs level..
