I am somewhat a Mayweather fan, but at the same time I agree with most people when they say that Mayweather duck a lot of opponents. He is very skilled with a combination of speed and power, but many top ranked boxers could be undefeated if they chose the safe route like Mayweather. He has made a name for himself now it's time to step up and fight the Mosley's Delahoya's, Cotto's, Hatton's. If Mayweather took all 4 of those guys out with UD/TKO/KO which I think would be hard but not impossible for him, I would consider him the greatest ever.Originally Posted by cockey cockney

the one left is cotto, now is cotto or baldomir the bigger/better fight at 147?
I think that PBF is one of those elite athletes that comes into boxing every generation. He truly has mad skills in the ring. The only thing that makes me wonder is that he really hasnt done it against the best opposition. He hasnt fought nobodies but has fought the fighters that made him look good. He hasnt been challenged in the ring since the 2 Castillo fight. At this point I am not sure if it is because he is that great or if it is because his opposition is making him look that great. I would like to see him settle in one division, unify, and rule that division for a year or so.

Of course Mayweather get's turned down when he believes that he is the main attraction and demands most of the purse. Also common knowledge. I suppose all I can say is that we will see if and when he fights anyone that both of us agree is a serious contender.Originally Posted by frozensolid_702

and hatton would only take the fight with floyd if he got a ridiculous 8 figure purse(maybe he was pricing himself out of that one? you think?)
and stop with cotto.............
hes not close to margaritos level, and hes even further than baldomirs level..
