The TKO of Razor Ruddick in Kansas City in 1976. I have seen few boxers hit the canvas as hard as Ruddick did when Tommy caught him with a devastating left hook; amazing he got up, but he courageously did. Tommy made a dramatic comeback in that fight from a first round knockdowm from a vicious Ruddick uppercut which dropped Tommy to his knees; erroneously, I thought it was all over then.

I stand corrected. Not only was it a viscious typo (I invented them), but careless. Of course, it was 1996; Tommy got my good friend, Jeff, four tickets for that fight.

If he could wear a football helmet, He could/would be champion.

Very true. I don't know what all the talk about Tommy Morrison is when we were able to witness one of the very best heavyweights in any era. Lennox. Tommy Morrison in his prime could not take the retired Lennox.

did Lennox get him before or after the "ROCKY" movie?.....because Tommy lost something after that movie....he was never as good after that IMO....

Lennox dominated him. I am not sure if he won a round, but I watched it live at a pub with a friend who was a strong Morrison supporter. I was a strong Lennox supporter. Let's just say at the end of that night he was still a Morrison fan, but he also became a Lennox supporter.

I was at the Morris V. Ruddick fight, in KC. I saw a true champion boxing, in Tommy. Yea, if Tommy was boxing now, he would be a champion.
