Ah come on he's an adventurer Fenster!

Nobody says that Captain Oates shouldnt have gone to the South Pole, or that Ayrton Senna shouldn't have been racing.

Evander knows the risks, he's passed the medicals, let him fight!

It doesn't seem to me to be about the level of risk Evander Holyfield is willing to take or whether he can pass a physical in Georgia. It seems to me that what is a risk, aside from Holyfield's health, is any chance to restore the division to the level of a sport. When extreme mismatches are passed off as legitimate boxing contests the diginity of the sport suffers as it ultimately becomes either a carnival or a mugging, or both.

    Just watched it...

fast combinations looked good over 2 rounds against Bates.

but was wide open to the right hand and dont think he has the reflexes of old to escape from a better fighter.... ((could just be ring rust ))

i wish Holyfield well but if im honest my craving for a heavyweight star can wait... hes done his time IMO and see hes future last hurry panning out like a...

    Ali - Holmes
    or
    Marciano - Louis

    if he carries on

and what the hell was all that itroducing them to a million fighters before the fight... didnt like that at all

    Agreed. Good points bwoss.

I hate to see the man suffer a humiliating beat down. Honestly, I just wanted him to either lose a close one or draw with this guy...maybe that woulda closed the door on him.

Yeah but they weren't getting punched in the mush

I dont wanna see anyone die or get seriously hurt in the ring let alone a great fighter like Holyfield. Looking good duffing up an insurance salesman doesn't mean shit. Audley would of looked great against him.

Maybe the ref had it for Holyfield in second too! In fact I think a lot of the poor judging decisions in recent weeks have been due to them being participants in the prediction contest!

It was fun to watch Evander Tool on this Insurance salesman....Evander chalked one up for everyone who ever got screwed on there insurance premium....

We wont kid ourselves into thinking he is ready to Unify but Shit as long as he is hanging with the comp they put him in with I will cheer him on

Stature wise he looked like a 21 yr old kid...He definetly at 43 stays consistent with the Holyfield plan after 20 yrs he has constanly come to a fight in shape and subperb condition.

Man but he's one ugly fucking kid though isn't he?

His huge head, he looks like that guy out of Fantastic Four!

But having said that I absolutely love the guy and am 100% behind him. I love a fairy tale and the fact that nobody believes in him will make it all the more sweet when he does reach his goal. I can't see him unifying the titles but he's definitely got as good a shot as anyone else out there of at least winning one belt, as long as the belt he chases does not belong to Wladimir Klitschko
