He struggled with Cano and he was stopped by Hatton and Khan, and lost to Cotto. At this point, in my opinion, Paulie signed up for this fight for the pay check. He's making $1.25M.
By the way, is it me or is paying Broner $1.5M to face Paulie just completely ridiculous? To put it in perspective, Cano made $150k for his fight against Paulie. Cano made 10% Broner's pay check for facing the same guy. It's not like the fight is in Cincinnati so there is no way Broner is influencing ticket sales to such an extent that it makes it worth it to pay him that much money to face Paulie.

in some fans. Its a logical move for Broner but its literally a showcase for a fresher, younger, bigger, faster and massivly pushed-hyped new network glory boy. I seriously don't see Broner as more talented but he of course all of those.
