thats true but you can see from the barrett fights he is a long way past his best, any decent hw with any hope of a title fight would beat barrett even when barrett was at his very best

I agree, it's very unfortunate.
I dont get it, after Hayes dismal, boring performance v Wladamir, why would anyone even be interested? It would be more of the same.

Its not like he beat, hurt or showed promise against Wlad and Vitali wants revenge, like against Sanders, or Peter (who was holding a title) and its not like he has done a great deal to deserve a shot since.
