It's a ploy, just a joke. I know this because @ross told us in the other thread and he is completely unbiased in reading between the lines of these negotiations.

Why would Sky have Fury on? That pretty much says it's done

Hahah, I actually don't mind that interview from Fury. No matter how thick he is you can see it's literally tongue in cheek for the most part. What's mental is that he doesn't back off the 80-20 thing, but if in fact negotiations have been going on it's clear he isn't serious.

I can't think of a single fight ever where two men have actually agreed on a higher split to the winner, would love to see that as a first here. 60% to the winner, perfectly reasonable if either of them are half as confident as they let on.

"You know me and my team are very optimistic about the fight I heard Haye and he's team are very optimistic about it so I don't see why not this fight should not happen, it's ehrm, he wants a fight, I want a fight, so, it should be done soon enough."

That is a serious clusterfuck of a sentence. My head just could not compute that bold part of the sentence for about four hours.

Now not only is he the greatest ever, he is now the greatest there ever will be

He's a lot more poised there than I'm used to as well. Hearing him speak after being in the ring is migraine inducing.
